I always want to improve my creativity on writing and ultimately on my mind so I took Creative Writing. I never loved creative writing because it's not my strength, or at least not my preference when I wrote. But creativity is king today. I said to myself that I should give it a try.
And here it is: a book that features the best work from countless pieces of literature from students of Creative Writing. Finishing a piece does require a lot of hard work and time, but when it also makes me delighted. It is the satisfaction that pushes me to continue writing literature. Workshops were given to the class so that we could review others' work. Feedback is crucial for writing since we write not only for ourselves, but also for our intended audience. Others can spot mistakes and suggest improvements inthe way that I've never thought for our work. To finish Halfway Home VI, other editors and I had to meet regularly for selection of work, copyediting, and content layout. We often had discussions and debates about whether a piece of literature should be included. It was impossible for all of us to agree on a decision so oftentimes we had to reach a compromise. Launching a book that I was involved in was exciting and fulfilling. I know my creative writing isn't particularly good but at least I've got proof for my creativity.
